Book Signings
Between 2021 and 2025, I organized dozens of book signings and panels with artists, authors, and studios for the Gallery Nucleus Los Angeles location. As the Store Manager for this location, I pitched, planned, and promoted all book signings and panels hosted at Gallery Nucleus LA.
For television, movie, and video game tie-in books, this process also included contacting artists who worked on the respective properties to come to Gallery Nucleus for an in-person signing and panel. For graphic novels and artist monographs, I worked either with an author’s agent or directly with the artist/author to plan and promote a signing or panel.
Bookplates
For artists and authors based outside the United States, Gallery Nucleus would either host a virtual author event via Zoom or Twitch, or provide signed copies with no event attached.
For these events, I designed bookplates that we sent to the artist/author to sign, that could then be included with purchase. These bookplates featured art from the graphic novel/IP, or an original piece of art from the artist/author.

In-Person & Virtual Panels
For signings with an in-person component, I worked directly with publishers and artists to organize the event. My responsibilites for these events included selecting and negotiating with talent, organizing event orders, approving artist/author presentations, managing ticket sales, and acting as the day-of point of contact.
For select events, I worked with the artists and studios to livestream the panel to Twitch or Zoom. For these panels, I also managed the AV setup and monitored the livestream.
